Missing 8-Year-Old Boy Found Safe In Capital District

An 8-year-old boy with autism who was reported missing Tuesday, July 5, has been found safe, according to Albany Police.

Brandon Isio ran away from his home on Livingston Avenue at around 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, police said.

At around noon, Albany Police announced Isio had been found safe, unharmed.

"Brandon was located in the City of Albany and has been reunited with his family," Albany Police said in a statement. "Thank you to everyone who shared this information and help ensure his safe return."

Police in the Capital District are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 8-year-old boy with autism.

Albany Police said Brandon Isio ran away from his home on Livingston Avenue at around 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 5.

He was last seen getting off a bus near Lark Street and Manning Boulevard, police said.

Relatives said the boy was wearing blue pajama bottoms, a white shirt, and white socks.

Police said they do not believe the boy is in any danger, but need the public’s assistance in getting back home.
